The Past 8 Years: Short Version

The Past 8 Years: Short Version

My first blog post! Welcome everyone! So here it goes! [I don’t overly enjoy talking about my childhood as it brings up a lot of feelings that I don’t fully know how to deal with. So it might be awhile, if ever, that I decide to talk about it]

Soooo… I met my husband in 2010 while we were both racing motocross. Dated for 3 months, spent the 4th month in Georgia together, & then the 5th month I moved 5 hours away from home! Later that same year, bought our 1st house together, and got our first pet (Miley the Rottweiler) We then slowed down a bit, went with the flow, rode when we could, got engaged, & realized we needed racing in our lives still! Heading into the 2014 season (with our wedding coming up in June) we had returned to our favourite spot in Georgia. I woke up to a call mid week that my family had been in a car accident in Kentucky on their drive down to come see us. My father was killed instantly. This day, March 14 2014, changed our lives forever. My husbands mom then fell sick, couldn’t make our wedding as she was in the hospital, and died 6 days later.

The next 2 years were a complete blur in our life. Tried to conceive for the majority of that time, tried to get our business going, it seemed like nothing was on our side! Then BAM! Exactly 2 years to the month later! March 2016 you were amazing to us! Our business took off, we had our grand opening! Then my first week running the store, A POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST!!!! Something we were starting to think we wouldn’t see! This is when we knew we had another purpose in life, people were looking down on us from above to make this all happen. Now we have an amazing business! (Just purchased our own location! No more renting!) & The best part of this entire post… our 19 month old amazing, strong, happy, perfect baby boy! Grayson Paul Roger Johnson, you are our life! This is the quick version of the past 8 years. Welcome to my blog, and I hope you all enjoy my life, truth moments, mom posts, and laughs that will come along with it!

Also, grammar police, be easy on me 😉

Lots of love ♥
