Grayson’s 1st Birthday
All of the animals have gathered to say… It’s the King of the jungles big day!
With Grayson’s 2nd birthday quickly approaching, I thought I’d better share with you all his 1st birthday! It was 3 months before his birthday that I had already planned the theme, ordered a lot of things, & started crafting! (I’m really not that creative, I have a hard time drawing stick people LOL) But I got on Pinterest & just wanted to make as much as I could so it would be even more special! It was Jungle themed! Roar! I got almost all of the decorations from Open A Party It’s an Canadian online party store. They had an insane amount of jungle themed things and I possibly did go a little crazy! (I so wish I had pictures of all the jungle balloons, blow up animals, customized treat bags & of course, our amazing friends & family!)
Since their 1st birthdays are so special, we knew we had to have two parties. Remember I’m from 5 hours away, so we couldn’t ask all his relatives to travel that distance. So here I was, planning two birthdays, two totally different locations, & hauling all these party supplies everywhere I went! The first party was in Parry Sound for all my my friends & family. There was family members that finally got to meet Grayson for the first time! With just over 35 guests, tons of laughs, & not near as many pictures as I should have taken! So many decoration pieces I loved and didn’t get pictures of! Everything was just so busy, I got more at the 2nd party but still again, not enough! Haha here is how it all turned out! Now party number two! This one was a tad larger, & by larger I mean over 60 people LOL Hubby’s family is massive & yeah, no other excuses haha So for this one, everything I did the same. Used all the same decorations, same invitations, & the same food & snacks. I did take more pictures, but again, not as many of all the decor that I wished I took! That is one thing I’m going to remember for his 2nd birthday. Take TONS of pictures of everything set up! I love looking back on events like these. I love being able to see pictures of the hard work I put in & guests that came to celebrate Mr’s special day with us. So, here are the photos I got of birthday party number two! Enjoy!
