Mira Mattress Review

The time has come! Grayson now has a full size bed! This step moved really fast for us. It was only in April that his crib got lowered, and changed into a toddler bed. You can read all about that change here. He was starting to look way too squished in the toddler bed. With so many stuffed animals & books, it was getting to be too small of a space. I would go in every night before going to sleep and move everything so he had more room to toss & turn around. Then, out of no where, I thought hmm, I should go online & see if I can still order the conversion kit. OMG it was gone! I panicked and rushed to the nearest Babies R Us to see if I could still get it. I was told it was discontinued but there was 1 left in store on the other end of the city if I wanted it. Well, of course I went straight there to get it!

Now it was time to find a mattress! This was going to be much harder than the first time with the crib mattress. It needs to last him for many years to come, be great quality, and preferably, from a Canadian company. So now to start my research. After googling and reading so many reviews & websites, I found Mira Bed Mattresses. I’m going to highlight all the amazing things about this company & why I chose them.

Canadian- They are manufactured in Toronto Canada, & their entire team & staff are all Canadians! This had me interested right away & was exactly what I was looking for but didn’t know I would ever find this!

Price- Their price point is amazing! Mattresses start at just $549.00 CAD which brings them in lower than many Canadian companies. They are so affordable, without compromising on quality.

Night Trail- They have the longest night trail of 130 nights! You can try your mattress for 130 nights and return with no problems if you are not satisfied. They also have a 10 year warranty which is so long! A mattress should without doubt, when looked after, last you at least 10 years. They are confident in their product and you should be too! Longer warranty times always always make me feel better. It’s like the company knows for sure it will last that long!

Material- They are non-toxic! No latex & are completely hypoallergenic! The super soft cover unzips and can be just thrown in the washing machine! There is also a cooling, gel infused top layer so you aren’t burning up in the night like regular mattresses.

Comfort- I’d say its a medium level firmness & oh my gosh is it ever comfortable! Mr loves his new bed so much. He sleeps through the night, and then some! Also lets get real, I know its comfortable too since I’ve taken some naps on it, as well as lay with him some nights before bed. Also can I just mention that Mr says it’s the BEST bed to jump on! He loves a good jumping bed! And I can sit on the bed while he jumps and not be extremely annoyed Hahaha. So win win all around!

End result is Mr & I are so impressed with the mattress. It met everything we wanted. He now has the best big boys bed out there & I am so so happy I made the choice to go with Mira!
